We're almost a year away from the release of the PlayStation 5, but that's no obstacle for companies now wanting to launch video games for the new Sony console. Gearbox starts with Godfall, developed by Counterplay Games.
The latter describes Godfall as an AAA title with real-time body-to-body battles in a third-person perspective and thinks the experience will be the best possible when playing with friends. The game is based on Epic Games' Unreal Engine 4, will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 5, and later on Windows PCs through the Epic Games Store.
In the first Godfall trailer shown at The Game Awards 2019, we see three heroes flying near the ruins of a building, armed with special armor and helmets, each holding a special weapon that looks magically enhanced properties. Already characterized as a Destiny with hack-and-slash gameplay.
